Profile

Siman is a graduate student of Urban Planning at the University of Washington. Her specialization interest is land use, transportation and infrastructure planning. She is also interested in hazard mitigation, stormwater management and smart cities. Before coming to Seattle, she worked in Turenscape Design Institute, an award winning landscape architecture firm. Her major projects included in Sponge City Planning of Guangzhou, Ecological Tourism Planning of Kaihua and Citta Slow Planning of Qinyuan County. She also held a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University.

During her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, taking photos and spending time with her beloved cat Jojo.
